Blair Labatt is President of Labatt Food Service, one of the top ten foodservice distribution companies in the nation. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Oxford University, and earned a PhD in English Literature from the University of Virginia. He taught English at the University of Texas, and is the author of Faulkner the Storyteller (University of Alabama Press). He has been President of Labatt Food Service since 1980.
Mr. Labatt is a former Chairman of the board of the San Antonio Medical Foundation and of the San Antonio Academy, and is the founding chair of the Wellness Coalition of San Antonio. He also served on the boards of Texas Lutheran University and the San Antonio Food Bank, and was a volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement. He is President of the Princeton Club of San Antonio, and for 34 years has directed the Princeton Book Prize, a city-wide contest to choose the five Most Outstanding high school Juniors in San Antonio.
