Tuesday, October 13, 2026 ● 7-10 PM

Step into a world of wit, wonder, and vocal fireworks as OPERA San Antonio opens the season with Cinderella in a charming new production from Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Rossini’s take on the beloved fairy tale lets Cinderella shape her own destiny. With a sparkling score and a visually playful production inspired by the style of Wes Anderson, this Cinderella promises an evening of elegance, laughter, and sheer musical delight. Optional pre-show Q & A with artistic staff beginning at 6 PM. Sung in Italian with English translations projected above the stage and presented in collaboration with The Orchestra San Antonio.

Tuesday, April 6, 2027 ● 7-10 PM

OPERA San Antonio reunites with Austin Opera for La traviata, presented in the famed Desmond Heeley production created for Lyric Opera of Chicago. A work of heartbreaking beauty and emotional power, La traviata follows Violetta’s journey through love, sacrifice, and societal judgment. All set to some of Verdi’s most beloved and soaring music. Audiences can expect exquisite costumes, stunning visuals, and world-class operatic voices in one of opera’s most timeless and devastating masterpieces. Includes optional pre-show Q & A with artistic staff beginning at 6 PM. Sung in Italian with English translations projected above the stage and presented in collaboration with The Orchestra San Antonio and Austin Opera.
