About

 Opera San Antonio Chorus

The OPERA San Antonio chorus is a group of dedicated singers from San Antonio, Bexar County and surrounding areas which provides the ensemble for the company’s mainstage performances. Composed of diverse members from the community, singers have the unique opportunity to perform with outstanding principal artists in fully-staged productions at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. The chorus rehearses in the weeks leading up to productions, and receives compensation for rehearsals and performances. Choristers may also be cast in small roles, and participate in community outreach programs.

Chorus positions are filled by audition.

OPERA San Antonio provides a great opportunity for a number of San Antonio and regional artists to be a part of the magic of grand opera. Hear what some of our choristers have to say about singing in our upcoming production of Tosca!
