Education & Marketing Intern
OPERA San Antonio is seeking a motivated intern to work closely with the Director of Education & Outreach in supporting a variety of programs throughout the summer. The intern will assist with developing educational resources, helping facilitate the Emerging Artists Voice Intensive, and supporting select marketing and community outreach initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience with professional artists and valuable insight into how a performing arts organization operates.
Ideal candidates are undergraduate students with established residency in Bexar County and an interest in classical music, graphic design, or nonprofit arts administration. Interns will gain exposure to multiple areas of the organization—including operations, marketing, development, and community engagement—while building professional skills and contributing to meaningful arts education programs.

This individual will serve as the organization’s operational backbone and strategic thought partner — ensuring that OSA’s internal systems, financial processes, HR structures, and day-to-day operations function efficiently and sustainably.
This is a high-trust position requiring discretion, initiative, strong management skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The Director of Operations oversees administrative functions, supervises staff, supports production and event administration, and maintains organizational continuity when the Executive Director is traveling.
