March 20 - April 4, 2027 ● Magik Theatre

Magik Theatre & OPERA San Antonio present John Davies’ Pinocchio, a one-act opera for young audiences based on Carlo Collodi’s literary classic, featuring music from operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Offenbach, and Pergolesi. One of the most beloved characters in children’s literature takes center stage in this magical re-telling, which blends opera and theatrical staging. Pinocchio captures the childlike curiosity in all of us as he navigates an unknown and complicated world. Through a series of adventures, Pinocchio learns the harsh reality that every untruth comes with real-world consequences, the importance of sharing the truth with trusted grown-ups, and ultimately, the meaning of family. Your favorite wooden marionette comes alive in this age-old story of truthfulness, bravery, and heart! San Antonio’s not-to-miss artistic collaboration of 2027.
