Explore Opera for kids!

"Explore Opera for Kids!” is a five-part video series available for teachers and schools across Texas through a partnership with the Opera Guild of San Antonio and the San Antonio Public Library. Each episode lasts between 15-20 minutes and covers a range of cross-curricular topics addressing Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in Music, Theatre, History, English, Literature, and Science. These educational videos are geared towards children age K-6, but are enjoyable for all ages.

The full program includes access to these videos with accompanying Google worksheets. The final video "A Night at the Opera" serves as a review of the series and features the OSA Apprentice Artists in a concert format. The entire series is available free to all who register and includes an optional school visit.
