LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A magical night awaits at Opera on the Border at the San Agustin Cathedral in an unforgettable evening where borders blur and music brings us together.

Opera on the Border, now in its fourth year, was born from a desire to give back to the community in a time of tragedy. Diana Peña, a board member with the San Antonio Opera, shared, “After the shooting in Uvalde, the San Antonio Opera wanted to do something good for their community. They said, ‘We’re going to go on tour. We’re going to bring what we have in San Antonio to the rest of South Texas,’ and Laredo is one of the beneficiaries.”
